With the exhibition Edit Szűr-Szabó: "Mediterranean Moments", the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar presents an online and electronic edition of the catalog
On the occasion of the exhibition Edit Szűr-Szabó: Mediterranean Moments, opened on the occasion of the Day of the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar and marking the 12th anniversary of its opening, the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar presents an online and electronic edition of the exhibition catalog.
The exhibition catalog provides an overview of the works of Hungarian artist and designer Edit Szűr-Szabó, who brings her inspiration to the sea and the Mediterranean through the art of glass mosaics and stained glass at the exhibition Mediterranean Moments in Zadar. The author of the catalog is also the curator of the exhibition Jadranka Belevski, senior curator of documentaries at the Museum. The catalog is bilingual, in Croatian and English, equipped with more than 50 color photographs and contains a professional text by the author of the catalog with several texts by the artist Edit Szűr-Szabó and her rich artistic biography. The exhibition at the Museum of Ancient Glass presents 26 works in the technique of glass mosaics, stained glass and preparatory drawings by the author, while the catalog also presents numerous unexposed works that closely represent the rich opus of this artist.
The electronic edition of the catalog can be purchased on CD in the museum souvenir shop, and the online edition is available on the website of the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar.
