19. Night of the Museum
Another edition of the Night of the Museum event is behind us, and full of impressions, we especially want to thank all dear visitors, because the response of the audience at the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar this year was more than impressive.
The rich and varied program we prepared included two exhibitions, a screening of a film about the making of historical stained glass, glassblowing demonstrations, workshops for children, a mill tournament and a prize lottery.
Also, it is a great honor for us that the Minister of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, Ph.D. Nina Obuljen Koržinek opened the 1st biennial of Croatian art glass, a large group exhibition where no less than 71 works of Croatian contemporary artistic production in glass are exhibited. Along with the minister, the opening was also attended by the mayor of the city of Zadar, med. Branko Dukić, director of the Museum of Ancient Glass, Ph.D. Hrvoje Manenica, author of the project, museum consultant documentary filmmaker Jadranka Belevski and the prefect of Zadar County, Božidar Longin.
