Participants of the international scientific conference Europa Postmedievalis 2026 visited the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar yesterday.
The conference is currently being held at the Educational and Presentation Centre for Underwater Archaeology St. Nicholas, part of the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar.
It is one of the most significant European gatherings dedicated to the study of post-medieval archaeology and material culture.
Visitors were guided through the museum’s permanent exhibition by curator and museum educator Petra Govorčin, and they had the opportunity to see live demonstrations of:
✨ glass bead making using a torch (Antonija Gospić)
🔥 glassblowing and the creation of replicas of Roman glass vessels (Marko Štefanac)
We sincerely thank our colleagues and conference participants for visiting and for the pleasant gathering 🤝
