This year, the Museum of Ancient Glass is celebrating 15 years since the beginning of its work, and when we draw a line about our achievements so far, which were really many, some have gone "under the radar", and we think they are worth highlighting. Namely, when the museum opened to the public in 2009, of course, professional staff were also hired, mostly young people who, with their dedicated and high-quality work, contributed to positioning the Museum as one of the most prominent cultural institutions in Zadar and beyond. What we would like to emphasize in particular is the fact that most of them have acquired the highest possible museum title, the title of museum advisor, until today, that is, in a relatively short period of time. For the sake of information, professional advancement in museums is prescribed by a special rulebook, and it is necessary to collect a certain number of points in the areas of museum and scientific activity, and you can advance as soon as the conditions are met, i.e. you collect a minimum of one thousand points. As far as we know, there are a little more than twenty museum advisors in Croatia, among whom, we proudly point out, are our colleagues Jadranka Belevski, museum advisor documentarian, Anamarija Eterović Borzić, museum advisor and colleagues Ph.D. Šime Perović, conservator-restorer consultant and Ph.D. Berislav Štefanac, museum advisor. Let's also note that my colleague Anamarija Eterović Borzić is among the youngest, if not the youngest, adviser in Croatian museum institutions! Proud of the team, colleagues and those who will soon acquire the conditions for advancement, we look forward to the new year, new challenges and new excellent programs!
